Your New Role
This position is based in Leesburg, VA.
Support the estimating team by reviewing drawings, specifications, and related documents
Draft basic proposals using company formats
Maintain and update spreadsheets in Excel and organize project data
Upload and download project files as needed for bids
Assist in ensuring estimates comply with deadlines and client requirements
Collaborate with estimators to adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines
Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal team members
Work with software such as Outlook, Excel, Adobe, and Bluebeam; learn and adopt new estimating programs as required

Job requirements
2 years or less of basic electrical knowledge and ability to read plans (preferred, not required)
Proficiency with Outlook email and Excel spreadsheets (required)
Ability to work with Adobe and/or Bluebeam (required)
Basic mathematical knowledge (required)
Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail
Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn new tools, programs, and processes
Positive attitude with the ability to communicate clearly with customers
Team player with the ability to assist multiple estimators simultaneously
