Your New Role
As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting projects from start to finish while learning the systems, processes, and financial drivers behind successful operations. This role is based in Leesburg, VA.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Support Project Managers with day-to-day coordination and project tracking
Assist with job costing, documentation, and post-project reviews
Help track labor, materials, and subcontractor costs to support budget accuracy
Coordinate with field teams to ensure schedules, scope, and expectations are aligned
Prepare and assist with reporting, including metrics and Work-In-Progress (WIP) updates
Maintain organized project files, contracts, and documentation
Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and communication

Job requirements
Experience in construction, electrical, or project coordination environments preferred
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Comfort working with budgets, numbers, and basic financial tracking
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
Detail-oriented mindset with a desire to learn and grow
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP or project management software experience is a plus
